Joe, You may want to add that resizing text in the web browser does not work with IE. I do not know about IE7. Additionally, under Display Properties/Appearance/effects Some people find it better to use "clear type" as screen fonts smoothing when using LCD's. Especially when using large LCD wit

IMHO A brand name or no brand in todays computers have very little to do how they work, or do not work. Most, if not all parts are made in China or Taiwan. It is just a matter of luck if they fail. Cheaper computers often have lower quality parts. Higher quality parts may fail as well. If a new

Mepis reminded me of my wireless problems I have ThinkPad z60t, and all the necessary stuff works with mepis except the integrated wireless. Integrated wireless uses atheros chipset, but hardware "can not be found". If I stick in PCMCIA wireless, with same atheros chipset, the network card
