I was wondering if anyone has had any experience
getting the ATI Radeon 7000 4X AGP (w/ 64 MB) up and
running under XFree86. I have yet to be able to do
so. As background information: I am running Mandrake

I know that support for the Radeons was greatly improved with XFree86
4.1 and again in 4.2. You may want to look at your options for upgrading X.
