When using ODBC the only way to access your data is via SQL views you've built
in MarkLogic. See our SQL quickstart guide

You could expose your xQuery function through an HTTP server and then point the
Tableau Web Data Connector to it: http://www.tableau.com/web-data-connector

Hi All
I am trying to access an xquery function( which outputs a simple data)
through Tableau. I have created a Marklogic- ODBC server and connected it
to Tableau, but I don't have any tables in my database.
So I am sort of stuck and have no idea how to proceed further.
