Hmmm, I don't write much in general@ but this one caught my eye. Is BeanShell actively maintained right now? Latest blog posts on the site indicate 2005 as the last year of major activity (JavaOne 2005 is mentioned, no dates on the blog posts on the front). The proposal also links to this page

The code linked to in the proposal is a fork of the Beanshell code made in Dec 2012. I see no discussion on the Beanshell mailing lists about the code moving here. Can you explain a little about how the code has been donated without any public discussion. Have all copyright owners been consulted?
