The earliest mention of going to the attic on the ODF-Toolkit Users list
was on 21 January 2014.

Ian,
I recall prospects for some cooperation with POI back when the ODF Toolkit came
over for incubation. POI is also Java based and deals with Zip-carried
document formats and maybe some conversions, at least within the Microsoft
Office document models.

Hi All,
I wrote the last none mentor signed off report for the ODF Toolit.
It has been, is, very quiet, but I believe there are a number of users
out there.
I'm not sure on the numbers or the details. It would be a shame to
alienate them.
Whatever we do let's try to make sure they understand what

Looks like the a glitch in the record keeping. DataFu's last report

All,
I'm adding some shepherd notes for ODF Toolkit. I think my main concern is
lack of mentor participation on the project. Rob Weir (I swear every time
I type his name I type the d) has taken a mentor role on the project, but
doesn't seem to be in podlings.xml. I'm not too worried about this,
I am a little confused as to why DataFU is on the report schedule
when we reported last month.
Can anyone, please let me know?
Thanks,
Roman.

I am very happy to see this proposal.
I think combination of HAWQ and MADlib makes it possible to have heavy
production level analytics on top of Hadoop (which is fantastic!).
That said, given MADlib 's flexibility, I feel it would be a great addition
to Apache big data stack in general and I am

Hi!
on the heels of the HAWQ proposal, I'd like
to follow with a discussion of accepting MADlib's
community into the ASF Incubator:
https://wiki.apache.org/incubator/MADlibProposal
There was an extensive discussion within the existing
open source community and the overall consensus
is extrem

This project has been torn between going to the attic, or becoming a
sub-project of another project, since at least January 2014.
IMNSHO, it should go to the attic, with Apache Corinthia pick
All,
Looking at the archives, it seems that Kalumet has been monthly for a
while, missing June, July and August now. There is 0 activity on all MLs,
public and private.
I'm not sure there are any signs of life on this podling and am wondering
how to proceed.
John
All,
I'd like to bring to your attention the ODF Toolkit podling.
This podling has been incubating for over 4 years now. Last month they
filed a report without mentor sign off, without any feedback on the mailing
list. They have remained partially active throughout the 4 years, but from
what I

There's no such requirement on the ASF side.

Hi all,
The Apache Kylin community has voted on and approved a proposal to release
Apache Kylin 1.0 (incubating).
We already have applied some suggestion
