Hi Justin,
Thanks for your feedback.
I know your concern, and also we’d like to make our website prominent in
`Apache` feature.
So we visited many of the sites of Apache projects and list the todo items to
promote in ISSUE[1].
Please wait for this website updating. If any progress, I will u
Thanks Justin, we will take care of it in the next release.

Agree, that was my first thought: work during the incubation phase to build
project/community.
Let’s say what the other IPMC members think (maybe some would like to join the
project ;) ).

Hi,
Really up to the project on what process would fit them best. If it ends up an
Incubator project that may mean more work for the mentors. I think as long as
they are committed to the project we could accept it, but I’d like to hear what
other IPMC members think.
Thanks,

Hi,
Yes, it’s a very early stage project, discussed between several Apache
contributor.
We wanted to use the incubator as the "platform" to build the project and the
community around the project.
Do you think it’s more a "lab" related project ?

Hi,

I’ve already shared them on your dev list a while back. These are not really
quick fix or technical things:
First a minor one and I do see some improvement, and this is subjective, but
you web site doesn’t immediately make it’s obvio
Hi,
+1 (binding) but license need a little work. Please fix before the next release.
I checked:
- incubating in name
- signatures and hashes are fine
- DISCLAIMER exists
- LICENSE is missing a license
- NOTICE is fine
- No unexpected binary files
- all source files have ASF headers

Thank you for the valuable suggestions. Next time we will try to improve it.

Hi,
+1 (binding)
I checked:
- signatures and hashes fine
- LICENSE and NOTICE looks OK
- All necessary files have license headers
- No compiled archives bundled in source archive
P.s. adding release note may be a better way to inform those guys who care
about this mainly improvement..

Best to ask your mentors, but I took a quick look. Questions to ask yourself:
- Are we complying with the terms of the W3C Software and Document Notice and

Hi,
The main Issue I see with the proposal is that is only a small (if any)
community around the project and only a couple of committers. Projects like
this can fail to attract a developer community and end up exiting the
incubator. So I guess the question is does the Incubator want to accept a

That is correct. The SHA1/MD5 files are automatically generated by the Maven

Dear IPMC,
It has been more than two days since the voting began.
Currently, there is only one binding vote for Apache Hudi (incubating)
0.5.2 RC2.
Please take your precious time to vote.
Thank you very much!

Vino

Hi,
We discuss in thread [1] and obtain consistency to update the description
of the project:
Apache ShardingSphere related to a database clustering system providing
data sharding, distributed transactions, and distributed database
management.
I will update the description to the board.

The vote thread[1] has kept open for 11 days. How about we finish voting
after another extra 72 hours later?
