Hi,
while the release artifacts look good to me, I had no luck with
compiling the sources. I first tried with Java 1.6 and was informed
that I would need Java 1.7. So I tried with 1.7 but now I am getting
failures in some tests, namely in the Kiwi triplestore reasoner. I
made a few trials, cleaned

Hi,
to verify the release:
- What is the source release artifact that we are voting on? What is its
checksum?
- Where can I find the KEYS used to sign the release?
- Is there a RAT report or similar available to see that all files have the
appropriate license headers and were checked?

Hi,
just had a look and I can only find the pom.xml file in Nexus. Is there a
source release ZIP somewhere? The problem is that with the POM only, the
DISCLAIMER is missing and there is no LICENSE file attached. IIRC all
Apache incubating releases should contain such files. You need to create a

Hi,
just wanted to add what I have learned during Stanbol incubation:
The ASF releases source code, only. The repo should contain only the
sources - and no binary code (JARs) at all. This is fundamental to the
idea of open source. Once you start hosting binaries the users can not

the confusion about including binary dependencies in a source release
