I am already working on 4 sites with the basicportal framework. www.murphyfutures.com is currently based on Jetspeed but i'm converting to bp and www.eagleinfosystems.com is Turbine based and will be switched to bp. I have 2 other development sites I'm working on that will use the framework also. One is stock picking newsletter site and the other is a site for the NJMVC Open Source group.
BP greatly simplifies the process of creating DB backed sites it has improved my productivity greatly. I think it's a great project and will continue to help develop and port websites to the framework. My vote is +1 for incubator status.
