Hi Folks!
Sadly, other commitments in my life require that I step down the amount of
volunteer time I spend on the ASF. I had originally thought that I'd still have
time for mentoring the two podlings I've been involved with (Gossip and Rya),
but it doesn't look that way.
As such, I'm hoping s

This got discussed at length over the Metron proposal. We only need to
worry about an SGA from the original codebase authors if there is
still an active community.
AFAICT, there is not. A notice to the original authors about what's

I was just coming to general@ to ask about this topic, since I'm

Ted, as the Chair of the IPMC are you fine with delegating to mentors
who happen to be VPs of other PMCs?

Great proposal. I like that your proposal includes a well presented
roadmap, but I don't see any goals that directly address building a larger
community. Y'all have any ideas around outreach that will help with
adoption?
As a start, I recommend y'all add a section to the proposal on the wiki

This sounds like a great addition.
Given this proposal, why keep the repo private?
How has community growth/outreach worked to date?
Any documented forward looking plans for the community?

There's a community going through board resolution to move from within

Hi Justin!
The nifi-parent artifact is a part of the current release you're voting on.
you'll have to build the proposed artifacts in the following order:
* nifi-parent
* nifi-nar-maven-plugin
* nifi
For each of the first two, you'll need to follow their respective README on
building but use the

I'm really excited to see NiFi come to the incubator; it'd be a great
addition to the ASF.
