The initial framework for the Groovy port is now available:

Testers/feedback appreciated, but it's nothing near complete.

One more question, I read somewhere in the PMC rules that while a
project is being voted on, you are not allowed to promote it in blogs,
etc. Is this correct?
Is the rule that once it is accepted as a podling you can start
writing and discussing the project once again?
Thanks,
msacks
I just wanted to a quick status in on the project. We should have the
making of an initial Groovy port by the 25th. I was wondering if now
that it has been voted on if a podling has been set up yet? I'd like
to start moving code over to svn?

At the advisement of the list, we have created a brand-new thread here
for voting on the kitty proposal.
The wiki page is located at: http://wiki.apache.org/incubator/KittyProposal

The dicussion of how proposals should be addressed might be a better
issue for the Wiki page on proposals.
It is off topic of this original proposal, and I vote that it be moved
to a separate thread.
We have agreed and noted to use a single mailing list for the purposes
of this proposal.
