Apache FreeMarker 2.3.24 Release Candidate 1 (incubating) is released. Apache FreeMarker is a template engine: a Java library to generate text output (HTML web pages, e-mails, configuration files, source code, etc.) based on templates and changing data. Templates are written in the FreeMarker Template Language (FTL), which is a simple, specialized language.
Final 2.3.24 release is expected early March, and should be identical to this release if no bugs are found until that. If you are a FreeMarker user, please use this release if you can, and report any problems at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FREEMARKER/! Download / Maven: http://freemarker.org/freemarkerdownload.html#v2_3_24-rc01 2.3.24 comes with substantial new features, such as advanced automatic escaping, user defined number and date formatters, and the possibly of associating configuration settings with template name patterns. See full change log here: http://freemarker.org/builds/2.3.24-rc01/_html/versions_2_3_24.html DISCLAIMER: Apache FreeMarker is an effort undergoing incubation at The Apache Software Foundation (ASF). Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects until a further review indicates that the infrastructure, communications, and decision making process have stabilized in a manner consistent with other successful ASF projects. While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate that the project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF. -- Thanks, Daniel Dekany --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: general-unsubscr...@incubator.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: general-h...@incubator.apache.org
