Hi, +1. I've reviewed the patch and it seems like it would fix the issue. However, I haven't actually tested the fix: a unit test would be great. Not required for a 1.2 release, but great nonetheless and undoubtedly useful in the future to Tomcat, Geronimo, and other modeler users if they exist.
