from my bashrc:

PATH=$PATH:/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/usr/bin
Don't know which was the culprit, but I guess the PATH change. Also

did you use the last version of the Xcode console tools? I just got my iMac
with mac os x 10.8.2 and everything went smooth, no need for Guest account.
Steps made:
(a) installed XCode 4.6 from the app store;
(b) installed console tools from the XCode preferences tab;
(c) followed the gen
