issues have been that i dont get the control buttons working and that is after i have employed a few hooks to enable the plugin. FWIW the erstwhile gentoo-wiki page (i dont the current status) on opera also suggested to use gecko-mediaplayer. -- Regards, Michael Moore About *NIX: If its not fun, why do it?

Thanks for the reply. However, my reason for removing firefox was its heaviness. Considering that xulrunner is quite heavy as well, is it possible to use the xulrunner-bin package to provide the RDEPEND ? -- Regards, Michael Moore About *NIX: If its not fun, why do it?

similar to others, provided if you get the knowhow about userland and system. But, anyways both are quite different systems so, please don't view anyone with any kind of prejudice.
