System: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+
I recently upgraded from 2.6.23 to 2.6.31-r6 following the udev upgrade (the
latest version - 146-r1 needs kernel version = 2.6.25). Since the upgrade the
frequency scaling modules fails to load at startup, but I can load it manually
It was a BIOS problem that was solved by a BIOS update.
Sorry for bothering you,
Nadav.
N.B.
A year ago I tried the NUMA option. The good news is that the computer worked
fine, but of-course it's surplus.

This is a continuation of my previous (and unsolved) problem with the dhcp,

The problem:

I tried the following:
1. comment out all lines in /etc/init.d/net
2. emerged dhcdbd and added is to the initialisation chain:

But it did not bring dhcp on at boot.
Is there any method I can follow the initialisation process and see if the dhcp

If the machine has the 965 chipset, there is a fair chance that you'll
not be able to boot a 2006.1 CD (I least I couldn't). Please report you
experience.
