As per the suggestions I tested compiling and running sguil-server ~x86.
For that I had to add to /etc/portage/package.keywords the following:
net-analyzer/tcpflow~amd64
dev-tcltk/mysqltcl ~amd64
net-analyzer/sguil-server ~x86
It installed
It does emerge-- have not tried running it yet -- configuration worklist
first

needed some extra stuff, whole magilla to emerge below:
add to /etc/portage/package.keywords:
net-analyzer/sguil-server ~x86
net-analyzer/sguil-clie

Definetly not. Worst case scenario is that you will
have to create a 32bit chroot for it
