I followed the DistCC Cross-compiling Guide (http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/cross-compiling-distcc.xml) and run crossdev -t i686 and, I guess, it built a full cross-toolchain targeting the i686 architecture on a x86_64 (amd64) machine. Now, whenever I run (on the x86_64 machine) emerge -av --depclean
