i'm using reiser4 for root & home on amd64 nvraid for ~2weeks and had no
problem til now.
but i'm looking forward :)
/var is on reiserfs and backup on ext3. all you need is sys-fs/reiser4progs &
sys-kernel/reiser4-gentoo-sources (just read the manual on
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Reiser4_W
I'd be surprised if you found anyone on this list who would give you a
thumbs-up for using reiser4 - it's still a very buggy baby from all I have
heard.

I'm going to install gentoo 2005.1-r1 for amd64 on a turion-powered
notebook and an awful dilemma caught me: should i use reiser4 for root
partition or not? I've read tons of docs available on the topic but i
found it a bit contradictory. Do you know anything about the actual
state of
