The GLEP numbering represents the order in which I wrote the GLEPs. It
originally started off as just two very large GLEPs. The informational
GLEP and the changes GLEP. I split it out BECAUSE I realized that many
of the parts should stand on their own merits.
For anybody looking for a hand in rev
Changes:
- This GLEP can stand independently of GLEP58.
- Add XZ to compression types list.
- Move cutoff to 32KiB. Provide size example w/ 32KiB+gzip.

Changes:
- This GLEP is able to stand independently of GLEP58.

- Type 'EXEC' may be used outside the files/ directory. (eg scripts,
parts of profiles)
- Logic for dealing with future unknow
Changes:
- This GLEP should be considered regardless of GLEP58 passes, as it has
independent value.
- Python 2.5 is widely deployed now (and a dep on newer versions of
Portage), so SHA512 is easily available.
- RIPEMD160 was broken, so drop it as well.
- Add WHIRLPOOL algorithm as it's not vuln
Changes:
- Provide a summary of the generation method.
- Clarify that every file in the tree must be included.
- Manifests at the first level of the directory structure are now
REQUIRED to help mitigate the cost of redistribution. Other levels are
still optional.
- Scripts are permitted generat
I'm putting the remaining tree-signing GLEPs up here on the lists again,
now that I've integrated the requested changes to them. I hoped to get
them out before now, but I've had a lot going on as usual.
Thanks to the following for their questions:

- Calchan
- solar
