Don't play with the perms on /etc/shadow, you're just openning up security

Those of you that use cryptsetup for mounting encrypted partitions will be
glad to know that the new version also supports baselayout-2, mostly thanks

that your card is not supported by either ethtool or mii-tool, though that in
itself is unlikely as almost every NIC I am aware is supported by one or the
other.
