Noticed during a glibc build for MIPS-III ISA that the -mfix-r4000 and -mfix-r4400 gcc flags got stripped off. These are needed to work around known CPU errata in R4000 and R4400 CPUs. In addition, also add the -mfix-rm7000 option (and it's -mno form) to fix errata in the PMC RM7000 CPU, and the

Hi All, https://bugs.gentoo.org/705754 Not sure if this is the only one.  This is becoming problematic.  This specific one is blocking a security issue.  x86 and amd64 both needs an updated stable.  I'd prefer 13.32.0 but it's not been in tree for a month yet.  But we can do 13.31.0 by now ...

Re: [gentoo-dev] musl doesn't provide execinfo.h

Hi, So I figured I better write the patch for dahdi-tools against musl ... so I proceed to download a stage3 tar from http://distfiles.gentoo.org/experimental/amd64/musl/ (vanilla). I extract it, and mount --rebind /dev, /proc and /sys, and copy in /etc/resolve.conf ... chroot ... and so far so

[gentoo-dev] [PATCH 2/2] multilib.eclass: multilib_env(): set LIBDIR=lib for *-musl*

2020-03-28 Thread Sergei Trofimovich
In contrast to glibc musl profiles use 'lib' layour for 32-bit and 64-bit targets. multilib_env() did not take it into account and assumed glibc's lib64 layout. That breaks crossdev as it uses multilib_env to extract target definition. Native builds are unaffected by this change. Bug:

2020-03-28 Thread Michał Górny
Use UTS namespace to override hostname when network-sandbox is enabled. Set it to 'localhost' as that has a better chance of being present in /etc/hosts. This fixes tests in some packages that try to connect to localhost via hostname obtained using gethostname(), e.g. docker-py, and suffer
