Hi Tamas!
I can not contribute much to this specific case. I only have experience with
dual core HP Opteron Blades. All I can say is, that there is no recognisable
speed penalty compared to the same number of cores with single core CPUs.

Have you checked /var/log/cups/error_log? There could be
somethin in pointing to the problem. If not, try setting "LogLevel" to debug in
/etc/cups/cupsd.conf and reproduce the error.
Can you post the last few lines of
error_log?

Hi Simon.
Your right. SecurePath is proprietary and expensive. And it is not needed any
more for linux. HP has integrated some of the SecurePath features into Qlogics
drivers with integrated Multipathing suport. These drivers can be downloaded
from the HP site freely (well... read the license ;

within the driver.
I plan to use this driver to enable SAN access f
Hi everybody!
I have a question about the setup of a printserver using samba an cups. The
goal is a central printserver for about 2000 users, managing something around
1500 Queues. Queues should be attached to clients without the need for local
driver installation.
I have read the Gentoo howto
