[gentoo-user] pernicious printer problem

Gentoo amd64. CUPS gave no suspicious output (even after setting output to debug2). /var/log/messages told me that /dev/lp0 was successfully created, and lsmod shows that lp, parport, and parport_pc are loaded. Any ideas how to diagnose the problem? Michael -- Michael Ulm RD Team ISIS Information
