if your hdds are smart enought, you should be able to check
their temperature by emerging app-admin/hddtemp :
[EMAIL PROTECTED] sylvain # hddtemp /dev/discs/disc0/disc

oops, i forget to add some tools (mkswap, mke2fs, ...) to the ramdisk.

Each pam compliant apps has its pam config here.
Just remove lines refering to cracklib in this files.

Hello !
i wrote a short shell script which build a ramdisk with
evms1 tools (except evmsgui). It's usefull to manipulate
segments, volumes, ... when nothing is mounted.
You will have to merge busybox and evms1 to get it working.
give it a try, or forget it :-)

sylvain

i also had a such mail. Hoppefully, nobody else here use qconfirm,
or people who do so know how to set it up to accept mail from this list :-)

red, but the first is.
You really should have a quick loot at this :
http://speedtouch.sourceforge.net/index.php?/index.en.html
The 'Documentation' section is very easy to read, and some part deals with kernel
options you have to set.
It's also available in french if it helps :)
