You will need to put:
Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "true"
in the xorg.conf in the screen section if your are using composite

Does anybody know when the gentoo-sources ebuild will be ready?
I tried to merge 2.4.20-r5 to 2.4.21 , but it was relying on a patch
file.
