[gentoo-user] Chinese Input Problem

hi: I have installed Chinese fonts by # emerge arphicfonts and #emerge fcitx #emerge unicon chinput All are successful But I have a problem of starting XIM server! Now all the menus and icons become Chinese, but I could input Chinese due to XIM server problem. PLS help me. Thanks Roger -- ~~~
