Hello all, I'm trying too install mono using:
emerge mono It downloads the source code and begins compiling then it will stop and the following message will appear on the screen: !!! ERROR: dev-dotnet/mono-0.28 failed !!! Function src_compile, Line 47, Exitcode 2 !!! MCS compilation failure !!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message I can't see any messages, so I can't post anything else. I'm about to try it again, and I'll append the information to a file and include the information in another email, but I wanted to see if anyone else has encountered this and found a solution.
