Hi, I have an old laptop running X, but I'd rather have it to run the smaller kdrive, as it has only 50 M RAM.
The server starts, boots up the windowmanager, but the mouse and the touchpad refuse to work. I use the following line to start kdrive: xinit -- /usr/X11R6/bin/Xvesa -dpi 96 -mouse /dev/mouse -nolisten tcp -screen 800x600x16 -rgba rgb The mouse device, /dev/mouse, is used in XF86Config-4 as well, and here the mouse and touchpad operate correctly. The only error logged is Xlib: extension "XFree86-Misc" missing on display ":0.0". Can anyone help? Elton -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
