[gentoo-user] SRC_URI fetch

What is the utility of SRC_URI in ebuilds if portage doesn't use it? I set a specific SRC_URI in an ebuild but portage try to fetch from a mirror, where the files doesn't exist, and ignores SRC_URI. Ideas? Documents? Alcino -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list

sorry by the delay, I was out for a while. No, it's not an official ebuild, it's an app-emacs from wiki, and the SRC_URI specified was that from where I get the actual file, the same that I use to make prozilla download it. I'm reinstalling all the stuff because the xfree stop to work with n
