emerge openssh
/etc/init.d/start sshd
{to start the daemon}
rc-update add sshd default
{to add it to your default run level; i.e. start it every time you boot}

I think he might be after "/etc/init.d/sshd start" and "rc-update add
sshd default" as he wants to ssh into the box, he can already ssh out so
ssh is installed.

man emerge
emerge -s ssh
net-misc/openssh

Hi,
Have you installed a ssh server, if not you might try emerging openssh,
that is what I use. There is lots of documentation out there that will
help you set it up. if you have any trouble you can email me off list if
you like.
