When I try to emerge gpm, the ebuild fails as so:

The problem seems to be that emacs, when started without a window,
produces this error message.  Yet I have several gentoo installations,
and this only happens on one box.

I don't see this in bugzilla and I'm wondering, before I post a bug,
whether anyone else has come across this.
