thank you for the tip/reminder. that isolated the problem to xfce4-diskperf which depends on something etc etc that was causing the problem. emerge -C xfce4-diskperf fixed it (I only emerged that package in the first place to see what it was like, i never use it) On Thu, 10 Feb 2005 16:21:50 -0
