I just upgraded to the linux-2.4.22-ac4 kernel sources. When I emerged the alsa-drivers again (they worked with -ac1) I got the following error:
serialmidi.c: In function `open_tty': serialmidi.c:158: invalid operands to binary > distcc[26921] ERROR: compile on localhost failed with exit code 1 make[1]: *** [serialmidi.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/alsa-driver-0.9.2/work/alsa-driver-0.9.2/drivers' make: *** [compile] Error 1 !!! ERROR: media-sound/alsa-driver-0.9.2 failed. !!! Function src_compile, Line 59, Exitcode 2 !!! Parallel Make Failed I looked at the offending code and could not see anything wrong, but if I commented out that section, the build continued. Does anyone know if this has already been reported as a bug, or if there's a work around? -- Chris Bare [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
