Hi!

Since some time ago I'm trying to configure my box to run 'esound', so many
hosts can play sound through my speakers, and me, in the local computer, can
also play sounds.

Ignoring the configuration of gentoo (to avoid config files), if I start the
server with:
 esd -tcp
Then I can play from the local computer (XMMS plays to localhost:16001). But I
cannot play from the other computers.
If I start the server with:
 esd -tcp -public
Then I can play from anywhere. BUT, only the first I try to play. So, if I play
for the first time from a foreign computer, esound will work ONLY for foreign
computers, and won't work for the players in localhost. If I play first from
localhost, the foreign computers won't work.

Any help?? How should I configure esound to get what I want?
(my  /etc/esd/esd.conf is:)
[esd]
auto_spawn=1
spawn_options=-nobeeps
spawn_wait_ms=200
