Hi, I'm trying to install Gentoo on an old machine, but I run into a problem with getting it on the net. When the machine boots it apparently autodetects the NIC but when I rund 'dhcpcd eth0', I get a hundred million entries in /var/log/everything/current that look like this: [dhcpcd]:
