I found the problem. I had kdebindings 3.1.3 installed. Some time ago kdebindings 3.1.3 was removed from portage and the newest not blocked kdebindings then was 3.1.2 which itself needed the hole kde 3.1.2 --> I removed kdebindings since I did not need it (or I think so). That solved the proble

Hi When I 'emerge -pu world' portage always wants to downgrade my kde. First I thought its only a temporary problem but after a few emerge rsync's its still the same. How can I find out what blocks kde 3.1.4 or needs 3.1.2? There is nothing in the package.mask Thanks in advance Daniel
