Hi, The place where the gnome emerge bombs is in var/tmp/portage/libxml2-2.5.6/work/libxml2-2.5.6/nanohttp.c line 808 in a function called xmlNanoHTTPConnectAttempt. It says the variable len is undeclared. If you go to the file in quesiton len is declared as :SOCKLEN_T len;
