I got the following setup:
1) [EMAIL PROTECTED] server 128mb ram lots of scsi raid diskspace.
all partitions are mounted to their mountpoints and also shared via
nfs. on this machine gentoo shalll be installed! ;-)
host system: knoppix 3.3
2) [EMAIL PROTECTED] notebook

while I wait for help from this list, I started the compilation on the
server itself and it seems to run along fine, but... _why_???
