When I merged nvidia-glx and then ran ldconfig it toasted my Gnome installation and now Gnome doesn't load past "gnome session proxy" in the startup panel. Since then I've unmerged nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx and have rebuilt the kernel and set XF86Config to "nv" for the video driver, commenti
