I got it working no
I installed a vmware session with kde and now I emerge kde. But when it comes
to svgalib it always breaks with an error with some kernel module. Does
SVGAlib require some special kernel option?

Subject: [gentoo-user] svgalib on 2.6 headers
Hiya
Has anyone been able to get svgalib to compile on 2.6 headers? There's a bug
filed on it as well as a forum thread, but neither of those have
eft to make the neccessary changes

I've tried that. Doesn't work with 2.6.1-gentoo+2.6-headers.

There's svgalib
I'm still compiling the last couple of kde packages, but I'll check what's
wrong with svgalib after those are done.

I'm having trouble using svgalib programs under the 2.6.0-test1 kernel - I
have no /dev/svga device. No problem with a 2.4 kernel. My 2.6 .config is
derived from my 2.4 .config.
Help!! ;)

I can't compile the new version of svgalib, it fails while trying to find
grsecurity.h or something along those lines. Has anyone seen, heard, or
expirenced this problem before... or just know of how to fix it??
thanks in advance,
bryce
