How can I *disable* the boot logo but still maintain framebuffer startup?
I have a problem at the moment (actually not right at this point as the machine is in
bits, but prior to yesterday I had it), whereby:
A) framebuffer would start, in 16bit depth,

Are you refering to a small penguin in the top-left corner?
