Yes, it worked: CONFIG_PROTECT="/opt/brother/scanner/brscan4/brsanenetdevice4.cfg" after emerging I got a message: * IMPORTANT: config file '/opt/brother/scanner/brscan4/brsanenetdevice4.cfg' needs updating. -- Thelma
