A problem has just developed seemingly out of nowhere with kontact. The problem is two fold 1. when I try to launch kontact the icon bounces around as usual but the window does not appear. If I do a ps -x there are two relavent lines PID ? S 0:00 kontact PID ? Rl 0:20 kontact trying to launch kontact again does not solve the problem. But I have discovered that if I logout of kde and then back in again that kontact will popup at the start of the session 2. once kontact is open I can use email, feeds, contacts, and notes without any problems. However if I try to switch to either calendar or to-do list, kontact freezes and I have to kill it revdep-rebuild didn't show anything I've tried reemerging kontact-3.5.2, korganizer-3.5.2 and kdepim-kioslaves-3.5.2-r3 but none of that has solved the problem. During the last emerge -uD world the follwing packages were emerged dev-libs/libxml2-2.6.26 dev-libs/libxslt2-2.6.23 gnome-extra/libgsf-1.14.0 dev-libs/libcroco-0.6.1 gnome-base/librsvg-2.14.4 dev-python/pygtk-2.8.6 media-gfx/imagemagick-6.2.8.0 media-sound/amarok-1.4.1-r2 gnome-base/gconf-2.14.0
