Hi all, as anticipated in the discussion for GSIP-214, I'd like to backport it down to 2.20.x before the last 2.20.x release, so that GeoNode can use the functionality in its current release (the GSIP was developed with the intention of being used to allow GeoNode direct changes to data structures
