Ha ha, but really:
https://github.com/bcgov/databc-web-map-services/issues/1
Part of the BC gov't "micro-purchasing" agreement, one of the issues
they'll pay to fix is a GeoServer issue. An ever better offer than
"I'll buy you a beer" -- $1000 in cold hard cash.

It's not that the result is unappealing (it ain't perfect) it's that
the most important features (highest "importance" score) just never
ever show up. Not zoomed out, not zoomed in.

When I turn on the "kml regionation attribute", I'm finding that the
features in my "most important" level are not being drawn. If I turn
it off, I get all the features. The regionation attribute appears to
be affecting the draw, I see more "ordered" results when it's turned
on, but this odd quirk

Port 8080 can be a busy place. Allowing people to choose an alternate port
during installation will lower the number of collisions and make teaching
sessions easier too.

Is there any reason not to pick a slightly less busy port for the
installer to go into? I just ran into the Oracle IAS service by
accident. Since the installer is often being used for quick
evaluations and teaching, having the service less likely to collide
with existing services would be nice. 888
Any chance GeoServer would display a FOSS4G badge, like

I think it's a terrible idea! Firefox is not the expected client for a

you're restricting the power of your server: a client cannot request
an SRS it thinks you don't support! You have this wonderful SRS
engine behind Geoserver, that
