Hi, just took a look at GWC schema http://geowebcache.org/schema/1.2.4/geowebcache.xsd, and there seems to be a parameter "proxyUrl". So I would give it a try. You will have to upgrade to GWC 1.2.4 though, because GWC 1.2.2 does not seem to have this parameter: http://geowebcache.org/schema/1.2.4/
