Hi Justin,
thanks for replay. My original plan was to write a plugin, but I end up
moving to many files in and realized it is a horrible way to go.
So I have following choices:
1) Make Catalog pluggable. sounds like clean but hard solution, I'm
worried about time limit...
2) Fork GeoServer cod
Hi Alexandre,
Yeah, this thread probably makes more sense on geoserver-devel. That said I
will comment a bit here. I don't; think you will find exactly what you need
in terms of extension points in the CAtalog api. The api is designed to be
extensible in terms of STore and Resource classes but the

Thanks, that's go
Hi,
I deleted all files created by geoserver(.shp, prj etc) and added datastore
again(geoserver created all required files again). That solved my problem.
I wanted to inform, in case someone else faces same problem.
Regards.

Hi list,
Sometimes on my geoserver strange thing happens. Periodically (about every
2-3 months) nulled 4 files in gs-data directory: wms.xml, wfs.xml, wcs.xml
and wps.xml. I do not know when it's happening and what is at this time in
the logs, but I'm sure that no one had touched this files.

The GeoServer team is happy to announce the release of GeoServer 2.2-RC3.
The release is available for download from:
http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/GeoServer+2.2-RC3
This release comes with assorted bug fixes and small improvements, and aims
to be the latest RC before the final release. The e
Thanks Andrea, it is exactly the case, the problem we are facing is that we use
the same raster to overlay on a map and to check if a specified point is on the
"red" part of the raster or on the "white" one.
The issue we have is that sometimes the results are different (obviously the

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to write a theme plugin for GeoServer - geoserver interface
where you can maintain layers as a tree structure, similar to files
(layers) and directories (themes).
1) Themes can be inside of themes (just like directories)
2) Same layer can be found in several themes.
3) Ord

I've uninstalled Java 7 and installed Java 6; but nothing changed. I'll try
to configure JAI.
I see: "Error: Could not find mediaLib accelerator wrapper classes.
Continuing in pure Java mode. Occurs in:
com.sun.media.jai.mlib.MediaLibAccessor" Could this be the reason of my
problem?
I tried to conf
You are using Java 7. Please try Java 6, which is the current supported
version. We (both my group and this community) currently use and
recommend Java 6. I do not know if this will fix your problem.
Do you see anything in your logs that might be relevant?
