Hi Mark,
When you say mobile, what devices are you targeting? Does it need to be an
app, or can it be browser hosted like OpenLayers? OpenLayers works pretty
well on iOS and Android.
Here is one possibility for the desktop, maybe mobile, I'm sure there are
many others.
Hi
Yes the style had no fill - I tried changing the style to one with fill and the
polygon then works correctly
Strange feature - guess I will have to go for a 99% transparent fill !

I am using 2.5.1
I have found the fault - as someone else suggested its because there was no
fill specified only an outline style

Hi,
I suppose that it happens because the GetFeatureInfo system was heavily
improved to suit as well as possible with all that shows on the map: road
widths, sizes and shapes of the symbols. If polygon has no fill there is
nothing visible on the map and the current implementation thinks that
Hi
I'm wondering if it's possible to control an SVG symbols fill and stroke
colours using parameters in an GeoServer SLD.

I've modified the SVG to include references to parameters
.. rect fill=param(fill) #ff

It's maybe too late, but i still share my solution,
the plugin must unzip to install folder of GeoServer as follows:
..\GeoServer 2.5\webapps\geoserver\WEB-INF\lib.
ps: I'm unzip the plugin to ..\GeoServer 2.5\lib, then appear http error
503.

Roger,
Thank you for your reply. I am not looking for an “app” Instead, I am looking
for a more complete mobile web example than what openlayers has on their
website. Essentially to start, I would like a mobile example that combines
Openlayers + Geoserver + parcel search + layer identify.
Hi Mark,
True enough, this is on my task list, to make a more mobile friendly
version.

Just a heads up.
If you are using OS X have installed the KyngChaos GDAL framework (required
for the latest QGIS) and want to run GeoServer locally It appears the
GDAL framework places some links to jars in /Library/Java/Extensions. One
of these, commons-lang-2.6.jar, will cause an issue if

Hi,
We are using GeoServer WFS to serve Vector Data that are stored in Oracle
Database in backend.
The WFS request directly returned errors that produced by Oracl DB to final
users.
For example, when we submitted below WFS request to any GeoServer instance:
