I have downloaded GeoServer 2.20-RC and deployed this onto our test server
Additional plugins:- Oracle and MapML
It is running in Tomcat 8.5 on a UNIX server running SunOS 5.11
Java version AdoptOpenJDK 1.8.0_275_b01
Geoserver connects to an Oracle 19c DB via JNDI configured in Tomcat

I have over 90 layers defined with the vast majority being vector data served 
as wfs & wms. Geoserver needed a second restart after the web.xml was edited to 
point to my data dir

MapML works well to create a quick webmap, but it is a little slow.

I have not encountered any issues
