Hi,
I have been working on creating some layers in our GeoServer instance to
serve some daily raster images. I'm using GeoServer 2.15.0 (upgrading
isn't really an option right now), with the ImageMosaic plugin.
Here is an example of the DescribeCoverage request:

Try searching your Tomcat directory for a xercesImpl jar file and removing it
if it's there. Do you have either the Printing or GeoFence Server extensions
installed? I did a quick grep search and those are the only two modules that
explicitly include xercesImpl.

first time that I am encountering it. Perhaps it has something to do with
the way that you installed it. Could you provide those details (OS, Java
version, application server, bin/war/docker, any extensions install

Hi,

as default instead of HTTPClient?
That would seem to fix the issue for me, before any bug fixes are implemented.
Thanks,

Hi Daniel,
I've tested with the official GeoServer docker image, the preview works
fine:

Hi Jean-Christophe,
that's a very long jump!
Based on the stack trace, that layer has a reference to a style that's
missing, in the
"other styles" section.
Clean it up and the GUI for caching should be working again.
